Following graduation, Doug enlisted in the US Army and served in Vietnam. After returning home, he attended Central Washington University. He later married and had two sons. He worked most of his life in sales and was a huge sport enthusiast. Doug died on November 21, 2003, in Spokane, WA.

I remember Doug fondly as a child, preteen, and teenager watching my dad, Dean Baldwin, play softball with him and Gary Badt! A lot of the fun childhood memories I have with my dad include the three of them and softball! Doug was always so funny, kind, and generous!
