I entered the Air Force in 1977 and served as a Enviornmental Specialist for 1 year and 5 years as a Orderly Clerk. I enjoyed the military, married my husband while assigned at Dyess AFB, Texas and he served 20 years, retiring in 1997.

I have a twin brother. We served on the nuclear submarine USS Nathanael Greene. We were onboard at the same time. we were both torpedo men. Our job was loading, arming, maintaining, and launching nuclear missiles and torpedoes.

Served 2 years active and 4 years in the Army Reserves, Drafted Nov 29th 1972 and Discharged on Nov 30th 1974. Basic training was in Fort Knox Ky, Advanced training was in Ft Bliss Tx. Stationed at Nurnenburg Germany and was promoted to a Specialist 4th class upon discharge. My duties in Germany was Supply room specialist, controling weapons, ammunition food, and supplies for the motor pool. Was discharged with a Honorable Dischage.Good Conduct Medal.Vetnam Era Badge. Overseas pin, and Expert in weapons. I I was in the 1st Armored division the the 7th Army. My unit was the 2nd59th Air Defense Unit
