Jeffrey Criden

Class of 1974

Jeff Criden worked in the music business from 1976-2007. I started working at Record Theatre from 1976-early 1982 working my way up from store buyer to assistant manager then running Record Theatre's wholsesale division. Early 1982 I started my dream job working for Warner Brothers Records doing regional promotion & marketing. I was blessed to have worked with some of the greatest artists ever during my WB days. George Harrison, The Who, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Steve Winwood, Tom Petty, The Pretenders, Talking Heads, Ramones, Elvis Costello, Madonna, Prince, Ray Charles, R.E.M., Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Seal, Donna Summer, Neil Young, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ice-T, Faith Hill, Hank Williams Jr.,Bee Gees, Rod Stewert, ZZ Top, Brian Wilson, Linkin Park, Paula Cole, Traveling Wilburys and yes even Areosmith to name a few. My proudest moment at Warner Brothers was sharing the success of my hometown friends the Goo Goo Dolls and seeing them reach international fame. My Warner Brothers days ended and I went to work for EMI records for 2 years and independently for 2 years before hanging up my rock-n-roll shoes after all those years.
I've been working for the Upstate NY Better Business Bureau for the past six years.
I've been married to my beautiful bride Mary for almost 33 years. We have a 17 year old daughter who will be a senior in the Fall & graduate in 2014.
In fact current KE principal Pat Heyden was our daughter's assistant principal at Mill Middle School.
My love of music & promoting it continues as I post music new & old via youtube and am considering a Criden Music Blog site.
I have also dusted off my acting/directing skills & have done some local theatre as well as directing the children's Christmas & easter Pageants at St. Gregory the Great in Williamsville. I have also directed & produced St. Greg's Live Living nativity for the past 5 years.
God has truely blessed my life from the memories & fondness of my 3 years at Kenmore East to this very day that I am typing this.
