About Me	We left Keene during my senior year, I graduated from Los Angeles High School but have always considered myself a blackbird. After college I did 4 years in the USN then was regional VP for sales for Joanna Western Mills in Chicago, based in Seattle Washington. I started my own business which I worked until my retirement in 2002. I came home to Keene only once in 50 years to bury my parents-Budd and Pete Barden who passed on the same day in 1993 after 62 years of marriage. I met my current wife Katharina while on vacation in Europe 20 years ago. She is a German citizen and we divided our time between Germany and the States until FatherTime forced us to cut back, we try to make it to Europe once a year and we take a cruise ...(read more)
