Brenda Hubbell Kenyon and I (Stephanie Topa Franco), with the help of Mandi Silk Slate, have taken over and we will be hosting our 30th reunion this year! It will be a Family Friendly Reunion with the goal for it to be held at Surry Mountain Park on August 6, 2016 starting at 11:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm. The cost will be $35.00 *per adult* and kids are free! The money collected from ticket sales will go towards the catered food and any other fees associated with the reunion; no money collected will be for profit. Camping is available for those interested, and we will be working with a hotel in Keene to hold a block of rooms for those that may be coming from out of town or need a room (we will need numbers from interested parties to secure *in advance*). We will have Designated Drivers (distance to be determined) for those that want to partake in a toddy or three and games for the children and adults! The menu has not been determined yet, but we have The Pit Stop in Westmorland in mind. Of course it will be BYOB (**park rules apply**), however we will have limited non-alcoholic beverages, water included, to offer. We are encouraging everyone that can to "Bring Your Favorite Side" as a way to keep the cost of the event down to a minimum and the stress level of planning low. Brenda and I have heard from many of you in regards to the reunion being about our class getting together, reminiscing and having a great time. Both Brenda and I want this to be just about *that; having a great time! Fellow classmate Ed Lake has offered to set up Reunion Tee-Time on Sunday, 8/7 at Bretwood Golf Course for anyone interested. Should we get enough people wanting to golf, we may be able to get a discounted rate if we book early enough. If anyone has any other suggestions, offers, ideas, or knows of a fellow ’86 Classmate that may not see this page or our FaceBook page, please voice them to us! The reunion will begin Friday night, September 13th, at the Marriott Hotel on Railroad Street in Keene. Alan Rumrill from the Cheshire County Historical Society will give a presentation on the way Keene was during our high school years. We will meet in the lounge at 6:00 pm.
On Saturday night, the 14th, cocktail hour starts at 5:30 pm also in the lounge at the Marriott. A buffet dinner, including a plated salad and dessert and a selection of two entrees, will begin at 7:00 pm.
