About Me	It is with some trepidation I am joining Facebook. I plan on using this to keep in touch with current friends; renew old friendships; make new friends; view their family photos and travelogues. But don't expect me to be on this more than 1X wk! Things that don't matter: a person's sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, or financial status. Things that do matter: what kind of person you are now, and what kind of person you strive to be- to yourself and with others. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan; moved to Utah when I was 14; attended and graduated from Kearns High School; went to the University of Utah for about 3 years; drifted for awhile (career-wise) until I was hired by Western Airlines (which Delta Airlines took over in 1987) and stayed there until July 2008, when I retired after 23 years. Two weeks later I went to work at the VA-Veterans Affairs-where I plan on putting in at least 10 years and retiring when I am 62. I have been very fortunate in my health (so far!) and in being able to travel a lot, which I love. I was married once-and divorced once; had a daughter who is now 21.
