Aviation Machinist mate 3rd class. Station at Va. Beach, Va. Years served 1984- 1990. Attached to fighter squadran VF-41 Black Aces. Jet engines, and fuel system for the F-14 Tomcat. Our motto ,Anytime anywhere baby!

1970-1975: ETR2 (Nuclear Power)/student, U of MO
Commissioned Aug '75 after obtaining a BSEE thru the Navy's NESEP program at U of Missouri.
Retired Aug 1990 as LCDR (O4) as surface warfare line officer. Various billets including engineer officer on USS Richard E. Byrd (DDG-23) and USS Vincennes (CG-49). My last billet was director of the gas turbine training division at Surface Warfare Officer School, Newport, RI.

Our Kearney High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Kearney High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Kearney are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
