About	Tom worked for almost 15 years for the City of Lakeland. Drinking Water Division. He was a Fla. State Certified Class "A" Water Plant Operator/Supervisor. Tom married Cathy NeSmith Harrison [KHS Class of 1976] and they were married for ten years before his death. They had two children. Tom loved mowing and gardening. Tom died unexpectedly on 6/20/1996 at work after being stung by wasps [he was allergic to them] which caused him to have a heart attack and die suddenly. Tom was a jokester and everyone he knew had some sort of nickname that he made up to match their unique personal traits or personality - he was alot of fun and was always telling jokes.
