About	J. Greg White, 44, of West Des Moines, formerly of Sigourney, died Mon., Aug. 13, 2001, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born March 18, 1957, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Larry J. and Jan (Bollinger) White. He graduated from Katella High School in Anaheim, Ca., and William Penn University in Oskaloosa. He married Sharon Bown at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney on June 10, 1978. He married Deborah Decker at Oakwood Sporting Resort in Sigourney on July 26, 1997. He was a high school teacher, driver's education instructor and coach at Van Meter High School, Southern Cal in Lake City, Clay Central Everly and was recently hired at Colfax-Mingo. He was a member of the Iowa High School Athletic Association, Iowa Coaches Association and a delegate for Clay County Republicans. He enjoyed Dallas Cowboys Football, golf, baseball and playing on his computer. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Stacie Marie White of Sigourney; a son, Jeffrey Thomas White of Everly; three step-children, Nate, Alicia and Cassie Coble, all of West Des Moines; his parents; two half-brothers, Rodney and Randy Jones; and mother-in-law, Pat Decker of Oskaloosa. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and father-in-law, Harold Decker. Services will be held Fri., Aug. 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sigourney with the Rev. Phillip Ryan and Rev. Kate Stangl officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Sigourney at a later date. The Sigourney News Review, August 15, 2001
