Served 10 years Active Duty Army and 11 years in the Army Reserve as an Engineer Officer in both Combat and Construction Engineer units. Stationed in Germany for three years with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Also served in the 10th Mountain Division, 983rd Engineer Battalion, 416th Engineer Command, and the 372nd Engineer Brigade. Deployed in Operations Desert Storm, Restore Hope (Somalia), Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). Retired as a Major.
