I was drafted in Dec., 1966 but opted to serve extra year and signed up for Admin military school training. Completed basic training and AIT at Fort Polk, La. In April, 1967 and was assigned as personnel spec in the 501st Admin Company, Old Ironsides, 1st Armored Div. Was ordered in Dec., 1967 to serve as personnel specialist at AFEES in San Juan, Puerto Rico where I completed my tour of military duty in Nov., 1969.
