Favorite School Memory | Waving the large back door of the gym that I broke off after swim practice with the guys, since the gals had no team, except for sychronized(which is an Olympic sport now ha,ha) to Mr.Wurtzel's champion wrestling team. I think he used it to inspire them more. The lightest weight fellow won a State Championship, apologize for not remembering his name. About Me | Traveled this country while I worked the blue collar jobs that most of us know(though being a girl I had trouble, plus I have learned that we had a recession when we went into job market in early 70"s. Landed in a place where I managed a 20-40's style 9 piece band, on the side of my 2 or 3 other jobs. Worked some fancy restaurants, discovered men still made better tips(because they had families, and the matre d's didn't need to bed therm); Eventually worked with pathologists, Doctor's, Clinic's through my lab work. I now work for the largest diagnostic lab in the world and volunteer at one of the best concert venues in the country up the street where I now live. If you need VIP parking - I may be able to help. Stevie Wonder was here last year, hadn't seen him since my thick & thin friends from JGHS went downtown to the Motown Revue in 67-68. I have sailed to the Channel Islands & ridden a Bonneville(Triumph) down Hwy 1 thru Big Sur after attending Monterey Jazz. Lived in Berkeley, worked in Japan as a danceru, took my sister Janet hitchhiking in No....(read more) |
