About Me	I got my bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my law degree from Harvard Law School. During my third year, I argued a criminal appeal to the Rhode Island Supreme Court. After graduating, I clerked for the Honorable Richard S. Brown on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals for two years. I went on vacation in D.C. and then started practicing law. I bought a house in 2007, which I share with my 11 feathered children. I adopted 7 of them at various points since graduating law school. Bucky is my sister's cockatiel. Skittles, Annabelle, Casanova, Gabriel, Casey, and Lemondrop are parakeets. On March 15, 2009, Annabelle and Casanova welcomed Julius Caesar into the family and helped me raise him from a jellybean-sized egg to a handsome blue gentleman.
