Marc Washington class of 1972....son drafted in the 2016 MLS Super Draft

Hope everyone is well
Our son Taylor was drafted #23 in the 2016 MLS Super Draft
He attended George Mason University in Va.
May 2016 he was awarded the Frank Pettrone Student-Athlete of the Year at George Mason University (3.56 GPA)
He is pursuing a career as a professional soccer player as a left back.
In 2016 as a rookie he was nominated for the MLS Humanitarian of the Year award for community service and initiatives in Philadelphia and Westchester County NY.

He continues to work hard for his place in the team

Marc Washington class of 1972....son is named ESPN HS Soccer All-American

Our son Taylor Washington was named ESPN HS All-American (soccer) in 2010 from the Rye Country Day School (Westchester County, NY)
At RCDS he lettered in: basketball, track, soccer and golf.

He accepted a scholarship to attend Boston University as a freshman in 2011.....he was recruited by some eighty (80) colleges including schools like:
Notre Dame, Villanova, Dartmouth, Cornell, George Mason, Clemson, Duke, Providence, and St John's to name a few.
