In her early 20's, Wendy moved to Valdez, Alaska. She lived a pioneering life for the first years, living in an historical cabin while the house was built. In 1999, Wendy moved to Blaine, Washington. There she met Matthew Egan. They married on November 24, 2001 and lived in Birch Bay. Wendy worked at the UPS Customs Brokerage office in Blaine for 17 years and retired in 2017. Wendy passed peacefully in her sleep after a three-year battle with cancer. (submitted by Tim Hansen)

Wendy was as beautiful inside and out. I feel very bad that she passed away. I can see her living in a cabin. We remained friends for at least 1 years after graduation. We took the bus to visit my mom and dad in Atlanta.We went on a canoe ride and spent hours at Stewart Park in Mount Horeb. She was a beautiful person. I'm so sorry,Kris.
