I served in the U.S. Navy and was very fourtunate to make 3 world cruises on Destroyers and Cruisers. I met so many great people in the military with amazing intelligence and not to mention the cultures that I was so fortunate to embrace which provided me the insight of what was truly missing in the U.S. Education System. The world know so much about the U.S. citizens, but the citizens of the U.S. know and understand so much about the world. We have spent most of the last 200 years dictating and it's really about mutual respect. I have learned that many of the politicians and corporate exectutive take the service of young men and women for granite and case in point is service member from the Korean and Vietnam war still are struggling for justice from the Veterans administration which is think is disgusting. We were not drafted, but many either was unable to afford college, come from military families or just straight up patriotic. As for me it was financial and my opportunity to travel and get away from the small town culture and I am so glad because 28 years later I still see the same thing but new faces and more extreme conditions in my community, so I ask myself what happened and why so little progress? No need to answer or elaborate because the soloution lies in us all it's a matter of having the courage to do what is right, don't be selfish, worship money, fame, fortune and material things and the change will come.

I entered the Navy immediately following graduation not because I was patriotic or believed in military warfare, but because of economic, social and other means of oppression, discrimination and exploitation in society which have existed from the creation of this nation. It was a opportunity not without struggles and sacrifices, but I survived and found my manhood, true origion and experienced many other cultures which introduced to me the struggle and suffering of Asiatic & African people all over the world. I participated in numeroous missions and wars out of ignorance and mis-education into my evoloution of understanding that warfare solves no problems of the world be it Wari 0f 1812,WWI, WWII,Korean War,Vietnam War, Gulf War or present wars in Irag and Afghanistan. Since the Revoloutionary war of this nation for Independence from Britian which lead to slavery ofAsiatic Afrikans,Jim Crowe Segregation,Share Cropping or Semi-Slavery. I saw the same problems in the Navy which was not legally integrated until 1941 by President Harry S. Truman and opportunities was limited. As a Chief Information Technician the job was always challenging and I trully enjoyed it. I had th eopportunity to make 3 world cruises and visit Europe,Afrika and Asia. The things that stike me most was how I was taught that the "Russians was my enemy without ever having met anyone from Russia" I was a cold war soldier that saw the fall of the communist form of goverment. It's was all about who should control the geographical hemishpere and control the world wealth and resouces. When I found out that we were "pawns " I made my exodus alive and in good health with a conscious to end warfare forever on the planet. I appreciate the discipline, friends, travel and education I acquired inside and outside. I met many revoloutionary brothers and sisters from all over the United States. We bonded, dialogue and talked about the struggles in Georgia, New York, Mississippi California, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiane etc. I received many medal, accomodations, trained many solddiers as a Flee Training Instructor, and served as a Shore Patrol or "Navy Police Officer"l in San Diego California for two years during the rise of the Crips and Blooods gangs. I saw personal ly the ignorance that existed in them from rebellion inside of the communities across California. Now this madness is all over the nation imbeded in the culture and even the Elementary and Middle School of North Carolina. So where is the human progress or evoloution of love, respect and honesty? What type of society or world will my children have to grow up in this nation if so much emphasis is placed on money, titles, and material goods? Who are responsible for this and why do so many willingly or blindly participate? My advise to any young person never join any military or social organization or institution without knowing it's goals, objective or mission? Educate yourself because we a living in the Information age. I was a sailor, but before that I was a product of the human family and my creator wants the world to exist in peace, love and not war.
