Mike died from complications of Crones Disease. He loved to tinker with motors, camping, motorcycling and doing things with his Dad, Troy. He was the youngest Deacon ever ordained
(at the time ) as a member of Central Baptist Church, Itasca. He played the clarinet, banjo, steel guitar and saxophone.Was a member of FFA.
