About	Jennifer Lynn Horton, 41, of Chesapeake, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Born in Norfolk, she was the daughter of David and Joyce Johnson. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Paul T. Johnson, Sr., Harriett C. Johnson and Thomas E. Rogers. Jennifer was a 1999 graduate of Indian River High School. Jennifer's purpose in life was her family, and instilled in them the need to work hard and to be kind to others. Today, Jennifer's children are a reflection of the good that she possessed. Including her parents, her memory will be cherished by her children, Brittany Horton, Tiffany Horton, Courtney Horton and Joshua Horton; her grandmother, Janetta Howell; brothers, David Johnson and William Johnson (Abby); as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends. A celebration of Jennifer's Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 635 Cedar Road, Chesapeake. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45pm, prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jennifer L. Horton Memorial Fund, to support the future needs of her children.
