Kenneth Wesley "Wes" Lambert, 69, of Chesapeake passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
Born in Norfolk, he was the son of Lucille Whittington Lambert and late Robert W. "Bob" Lambert, Jr. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Claude and Mellie Whittington, Bessie Chaplin and Robert W. Lambert, Sr., and the love of his life, his precious five year old son, Jordan Wesley Lambert. Wes was a 1970 graduate of Indian River High School and attended Old Dominion University. He worked with his father and grandfather at Lambert Auto Parts. In his younger years, Wes played drums in numerous bands in the Tidewater area. His passions include music, NASCAR, the Carolina Panthers and his beloved New York Yankees.
Including his mother, Wes is survived by his sister, Cindy L. Birsinger and husband Greg; a brother, Bryan Lambert and wife Susan; a niece, Rachel; nephews, Ryan, Morgan and Nic, and a life-long friend, Mike Schoedler.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. The interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, beside his beloved son, Jordan.
