Gary L. McGill, 56, of rural Independence, died Thursday,Feb. 22, 2007, in Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo, following an apparent heart attack. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St.John's Catholic Church, Independence, by Father Al Vorwald. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 3 p.m.Sunday at White Funeral Home, Independence, with a parish rosary at 3 p.m., a military service at 7 p.m. and a vigil service at 8 p.m. Sunday.Burial
will beat a later date.Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Nikki Murphy of Independence; a son,Mike
McGill of Independence; a sister, Linda Borrett of Independence; and two brothers,Dwayne McGill of Jesup and
