About	Floyd Lee Henderson, age 58, of Chillicothe, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Chillicothe. Floyd was born on February 8, 1966 in Peoria, IL to Leland and Mary Margaret (Hitchcock) Henderson. He married Leah Murnan on June 24, 2017 at Shore Acres of Chillicothe. Leah also passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Chillicothe. Surviving are his children, Marisa (Aaron) Ruggiero of Chicago, IL and Floyd L. Henderson, Jr. of Indiana; his sister, Sally Kennedy of Peoria, IL; his brother, Kirk (Camille) Henderson of Fort Collins, CO; two nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents. Floyd was a security engineer for over 20 years for State Farm Insurance and later for CEFCU. He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe, the Chillicothe Sportsman’s Club, the NRA, and he played pool for the River City Billiards and Whistle Stop. Floyd enjoyed mountain biking, motorcycles and motorsports, playing pickleball, skiing, spin classes at Pearce Community Center, and live music and concerts. Floyd loved his friends and family, especially his children. He never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him. The community outreach and outpouring of love for Floyd and Leah has been a true testament of who Floyd and Leah were and the impact on the lives they touched.
