About Me	Graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1962. Received my Bachelor of Business Administration from Wichita State University and a Master of Science in Defense Systems Analysis from the Naval Post¬graduate School. I served in Vietnam as an artillery forward observer and on Okinawa as the Operations Officer, 12th Marines. I have commanded an artillery battery, a headquarters company, and the Marine Detachment, Submarine Squadron 16. In addition, I served as the Integrated Logistics Support Officer for the Tactical Warfare Simulation, Evaluation, and Analysis System at the Marine Corps Command and Staff College. I also served as Head, Manpower Information Systems Field Support Section where I acted as the functional manager of the Marine Corps' manpower management system.
