Barb Bercu, Sandi Fellman, Carl Kocis, and Tom Neely were close mates in 1969 and 1970. Sometimes Tuck Harry joined us. We drove around everywhere together, doing what we pleased, whatever pleased us. For example, we went into Detroit, to see the famous musical, "Hair," with a great, fancy dinner at Mario's Restaurant. It was the Age of Aquarius in Ann Arbor, so that we went to hear lots of great music. We avoided dope, thank goodness. We ate at the original Krazy Jim's, and we discovered Angelo's, which was a lunch spot for us, when we were at Huron High.

We were not, "the Popular Kids," but we were extremely cool. Who was the coolest pretty girl at Huron High? Barbara Bercu!!!\r
