Retired Marine Master Sergeant Fred S. Chaldy I retired in 1974 after doing two tours in Viet Nam as a sniper having recieved many medals and trophies as a top rifle shotter for the Marine Corps. Served 45 years in USA. Positions held were, Test Pilot in Rotorcraft, Single and Multi-engine Aircraft. Instructor Pilot in single and multi-engine aircraft, logging more the ten thousand hours. Served as Director of Aviation for the South Dakota Army National Guard for nine years retiring at the rank of Full Colonel.

Did a stint in the Navy (85-88) then went to SDSU-ROTC and commissioned in the Army as a Signal Officer (Communications). Deployed with the Navy in 1988 (Persian Gulf) and again with the Army in 2004-05 Afghanistan. Over all I have over 25 years in the books.
