Retired Marine Master Sergeant Fred S. Chaldy I retired in 1974 after doing two tours in Viet Nam as a sniper having recieved many medals and trophies as a top rifle shotter for the Marine Corps. Served as Director of Aviation for the South Dakota Army National Guard for nine years retiring at the rank of Full Colonel.

Our Hot Springs High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Hot Springs High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
