About	John P. Gourley, 78, passed away peacefully July 26, 2015. Born January 2, 1937 in Gary, IN, he was the son of the late Leonard R. and Theresa Ann (Cullin) Gourley. Two brothers, William and Donald Gourley, also preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are 3 children, Elizabeth "Liz" (Daniel) Kruk of New Carlisle, IN, Ann (Scott) Long of Mansfield, TX and Christian Gourley of Martinsville, IN; 7 grandchildren, James and Tyler Kruk, Matthew, Katie and Michael Long, and Grant and Grace Gourley; and brother, Jim Gourley of OR. John graduated with a Law Degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. He had his own practice in Elder Law and later joined with May, Oberfell and Lorber. He served as the City Attorney for Mishawaka since 1984 and was the former President of First National Bank in Mishawaka. He enjoyed perch fishing on Lake Michigan and was a good golfer in his time, having had multiple holes-in-one. He was funny and had a witty sense of humor. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed.
