About	Charles “Chuck” Guy Riddle, 65, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Bingham Memorial Hospital from an apparent heart attack. Charles (Chuck) Guy Riddle was born on June 25, 1951 to Bettie Jane Pysher Atsas Riddle and Paul Devon Riddle in Gary, Indiana. He attended Ambridge Elementary School and Horace Mann High School in Gary Indiana. At the age of 15, following the death of his step father, William Hedges Sr., Betty relocated with Charles and his younger brother Bill to Stuart, FL to be near Betty’s mother Viola Pysher. Chuck finished schooling at Martin County High School in Stuart, FL. His work ethic and drive earned him top marks and he graduated as a member of the Honor Society and earned scholarships that allowed him study at Utah State University in Logan, UT. As a freshman at Utah State, Chuck met the love of his life and his bride-to-be, Sharon Jean Welty. They dated for 3 ½ years and after their graduation on Saturday, June 9, 1973, they were wed Sunday, June 10, 1973. Chuck graduated Utah State with a bachelor’s degree in education in 1973 and, in 1976, a master’s degree in special education. Following their graduation, Chuck and Sharon lived for a short time in Salt Lake City, UT; they moved to Springfield, IL; where their eldest son Charles Guy Riddle II was born; Boise, ID, where their youngest son Aron Robert Riddle was born. Chuck and Sharon finally settled down in Blackfoot in 1984 where Chuck, lived, worked, retired, raised his family, served his church and community, and left a legacy of love. To those who knew him, Chuck will be remembered for his compassion, his eagerness to serve others, his devotion to his faith, the way he loved his family and friends, his sense of humor, his love of motorcycles, his pragmatism, his kindness, and his gentle demeanor. He is survived by his one and only love Sharon Jean Welty Riddle, his sons Charles II (Tami) and Aron (Mara), his grandchildren Charles (Trey) III, Lori, Ryker, Brittni, Ashtin, Elsie, Beatrice, his half-brother Bill (Brenda) Hedges, his half-brother John Riddle, his half-brother Tom (Dorothy) Riddle, and many, many friends who love and will miss him dearly. Chuck is preceded in death by his Mother Bettie Jane Pysher Atsas Riddle, his biological father Paul Riddle, his step father William Hedges II.
