About	Conrad ‘Connie’ Serwatka, age 68 of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017. He is survived by son, Jamie (Michel) Serwatka; brother, John Serwatka; fiancé', Casie Hastings; aunt Alice Williams; cousin, Carol (Richard) Rowe. Preceded in death by wife, Judy; parents, Mitchell & Helen; and half-brother, Thomas Serwatka. Mr. Serwatka was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton where he served as eucharistic minister and was involved with the Bereavement Ministry. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grade School, Horace Mann High School, and Chicago Institute of Technology. He was a retired boiler inspector from ABS. Conrad would always attend car cruises during the week and car shows on the weekend. He was also an avid Blackhawks fan and a member of the Lake Effect Miata Club.
