About	Charles Seberger, 90, of Valparaiso formerly of Gary passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. He was born February 26, 1926 to Nicholas and Frances (Burnett) Seberger, graduated from Horace Mann High School and served proudly aboard LST-642 with the U.S. Navy during WW II in the Pacific. He made his career as a trainmaster and supervisor with the EJ & E Railway and U.S. Steel for 37 years retiring in 1979. Herb was a member of VFW Post #66 in Griffith and American Legion Post #94 in Valparaiso. He married Darlene R. Hoppe who survives along with their daughter, Karen (John) Catchur of Valparaiso; son, Jeffrey M. (Susan) Gorden of Elk Grove Village, IL; grandchildren: Jeffrey C. (Maxine)Gorden, Sarah Gorden, Shannon and Morgan Catchur and great grandchildren: Caiden and Harper Gorden. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Harry, Fred, Doris and Virginia.
