About	John D. Ellithorp, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away Sunday July 3, 2016. He was born February 28, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the son of the late John Dwayne and Mary Rosalie (Thrush) Ellithorp. John served his country in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne and followed with employment in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB as a computer programmer, retiring in 2004. He was passionate about riding his Harley, lifting weights and firearm marksmanship. John is survived by his wife Emily “Jill” Ellithorp; two daughters, Tamara (Steve) Pierson, Deanna (Brent) Segner; two step-daughters, Tonya (John) Haley, Tasha Craft; six grandchildren; brother, Gary Dean (Patty) Ellithorp; and beloved cat, Harley; as well as nieces and nephews.
