About	William ‘Bill’ Wineinger, age 73 of Lowell, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015. He was a 1961 graduate of Horace Mann High School in Gary. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force serving in Thailand as a data processing specialist and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the VFW in Lowell, Post 6841. Bill retired from Inland Steel after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Thelma (Sheppard) Wineinger; sister, Karen Stackert. Bill is survived by his sister, Judith (David) Morrow of CP; brother-in-law, Richard Stackert; nieces and nephews: Jeff (Richelle) Stackert, Jill (Ben) Polhemus, Faith Stackert, Jamie (Tom) Adams, Brad (Grace) Morrow; and numerous cousins. Bill was a kind and quiet man who enjoyed the companionship of his cat Moe. His passions were electronics, cars, and watching the Cubs. A special thanks to Barb Stolzmann and Faith Stackert for their help with his cat Moe. A big thank you to all who offered a friendly word or act of kindness to Bill.
