About	Juanita Rosabelle Viera was born August 4, 1945 in Tampa, Florida to Osvaldo Viera and Thelma R. Viera, and died December 4, 2014 in Gary, IN. She was an educator all of her life, graduating from Horace Mann High School in 1963, graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Education. She entered the Gary School System and finished her career in the Portage School System. She retired after 40 years. A member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Miller, where she also taught Bible School, the American Legion, holding several positions through the years. A member of the concert band, Rusty Pipes where she played the clarinet, she started playing in the Horace Mann High School Band. She was an animal lover and took care of all the animals that crossed her path. When she passed she had a dog (Bear) and many cats. They will miss her. She was preceded in death by both her mother and father, Thelma Rosabelle Viera and Osvaldo Viera and a brother, Jose Raymond Viera. Survivors: brother Ozzie Viera (Ana Fe) of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; sister Patricia Byer (Douglas) of Las Vegas, Nevada; cousin Gloria Hasara (Gerald) of Tampa, Florida, with many nieces and nephews across the country.
