About	Mary Ann Elizabeth Gilyan, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 31 at St. Vincent's Hospital. Survived by her three children; son, David E. Gilyan (Kim) Indianapolis; daughter, Melissa A. Gilyan Indianapolis; and son, Michael D. Gilyan (Danielle) Carmel; six grandchildren: Max M. Gilyan, Alexandra M. Hagenbuch, Zak J. Gilyan, Blake D. Jensen, Nolan H. Lissman, Kelly C. Gilyan; great-granddaughter, Evelyn Ann Renee Loveall; six nieces: Michelle Irvin (Roger), Jacqueline Scartozzi (Jon), Kristin Benedetto (Scott), Amy Bratsch (Kent), Traci Caruthers (Dean), many grandnieces and grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents: Albert N. and Anna L. (Johnson) Walter; and two brothers: Michael N. Walter and Thomas B. Walter. A longtime, spirited, resident of Northwest Indiana, she also resided in Santa Barbara, CA and Green Valley, AZ for many years. She attended Gary Horace Mann High School, Class of 1960 and was fiercely proud of her Northwest Indiana roots.
