About	Madelyn M. Carrel, age 66, a longtime Lake Station, IN resident passed away September 9, 2014. She was born to the late William “Pat” and Gladys Carrel on February 12, 1948 in Gary, Indiana. Madelyn worked as a railroad yard clerk at E.J.&E. Railroad until the time of her retirement. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Madelyn is survived by her daughter, US Army Capt. Rachel (Andrew) Hudak of Elk Grove, CA; granddaughter, Brieanna Underwood of Elk Grove, CA. She was preceded in death by parents, and grandparents, Gertrude and Bernard Anderson. The family would like to thank the staff of Windsor Elk Grove Care and Rehabilitation Center and Advanced Hospice of Sacramento for their care and kindness shown to Madelyn during her illness.
