About	Jessye Williams Age 70, was born September 22, 1943 in Rison, Arkansas to the late Margie Bess Moore and the late Rayshaw Williams. A resident of Gary, Indiana, he passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Methodist Hospital Northlake. Jessye attended Froebel, but completed his education at Horace Mann High School. Jessye worked in glass and upholstery and he retired from The Gary Community School Corp in 2013. He was a member of New Sardis MB Church under the late Reverend Alexander. Jessye enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Jessye was preceded in death by children: Yolanda Jordan, Rayshaw Williams, Vanessa Williams; stepfather, Jesse Moore; sister, Melva Moore; brother, Danny Moore; and sisters-in-law, Ann Herndon and Debar Hill. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Cathy Spraggins-Williams; children, Evora (Larry) Moore, Anthony (Shinelle) Campbell, Antoine Donaldson, Kimberly Spraggins, Erika (Clifton) Spraggins; brothers, Robert (Mary) Moore, Dennis Moore; sisters, Sharon Moore, Genell (Raymond) Willis, Catherine Lester, Debbie Burris; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian Herndon, Barbara (Edward) Jones, Gwendolyn Crawford, Vickie Herndon, Waynetta (Walter) Lewis, Samuel (Norma) Jackson. Harold (Patsy) Herndon; and good friend, Rudy Hernandez; godchild, Natalia Jordon; 29 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
