| About | Eileen Haydee Marrero, Age 70, of Gary, Indiana made her transition to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana. She was born May 10, 1943 in Humacao, Puerto Rico. She attended Horace Mann High School. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon (Leocadia) Lugo; brothers, Victor and Caesar Lugo; two sisters, Gloria Lugo and Norma Bayron. She was a devoted and loving homemaker married 44 years to the late Juan Marrero, Sr. This union was blessed with seven children, Ada Marrero of Tampa, FL, Alma Marrero of Tacoma, WA, Sylvia (Felix) Ocasio of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Yolanda Marrero, Elizabeth Marrero, Annette (Darrell) Beaty, Juan (Alisa) Marrero, Jr. all of Gary. Surviving Eileen are her sisters, Josephine (Luis) Perez and Leocadia Lopez of Gary; brother, Jose (Juanita) Lugo of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. |
