About	Melva Jordan Mar. 23, 1960 - Apr. 30, 2014 Melva Jordan, 54, of South Bend, Indiana departed this life on April 30, 2014 in Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on March 23, 1960 in Gary, Indiana to the union of Bernice and Melvin Jordan. Melva was a 1978 honored graduate of Horace Mann High School in Gary, Indiana. She later went on to achieve a license in nursing at L.H. Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington. Melva was a member of Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in Christ, located in South Bend. Her past time was spent enjoying reading and receiving encouragement from T.D. Jakes Ministries. Her favorite music artist was Donnie McClurkin. Melva leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Bernice Jordan; one daughter, Moriah Fitch; two sons: Lewis Jordan and Jason Jordan; a brother, Bernard Jordan; a sister, Teresa Daniels; grandchildren: Amina, Jasmine, Nhiya, Cherae, Jocelyn, Joynae, Jania, Janice, Dalonna, Xaview, Soleigha; five nieces and nephews: Darmecia, Desiree, DeAndre, LaVetta, Breonna; great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts: Frances Ray, Barbara Allen; and an uncle, George Snelling. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Jordan; an uncle, Fredrick Snelling; grandmother, Qunitella Snelling; and an aunt, Audrey Simpson.
