About	Lytta-Jane (Mettler) Combs, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born September 24, 1918 in Hammond, IN to Lytta Grace (McMahon) and William Mettler. Lytta-Jane graduated from Horace Mann High School in Gary in 1936 and from Principia College in 1940. She married Leslie I. Combs, Jr. on October 18, 1941, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1997. Surviving are three children: William (Linda) of Saline, MI, Jane (Robin) Vehling of Franklin, IN, and James (Vickie) of Ogden Dunes, IN; four grandchildren: Erin (Justin) Fournier of Ann Arbor, MI, Christopher (Christie) Hollcraft of Indianapolis, IN, Jaymes and Stephen Combs of Ogden Dunes; and three great grandchildren: Violet and Estelle Fournier, and Sophia Hollcraft. A private ceremony was held for the family. Donations may be directed to the Salvation Army. Published in The Times on Nov. 24, 2013
