About	Joseph Piazza, age 84, born July8, 1928 in Gary, IN, passed away at home on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Joe was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, Class of 1947 and served in the U. S. Army in Heidelberg, Germany as a topographical engineer. He retired from Ad-Craft Printers after 40 years of service as a supervisor. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bessie (nee Ross) Piazza and great-grandchild, Elizabeth Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mildred; son, Joseph of Lowell; 2 daughters, Joanne Padlo of Valparaiso, IN and Lynette Thompson of Michigan City; sister, Geraldine Leka of Hobart; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Friends may visit with Joe's family on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Crown Point, IN. Pastor Grant Liechty officiating.
