Agnes E. Flynn, of Aurora, CO, after fighting cancer for two years, passed away peacefully at home with her two loving daughters by her side on Monday, June 11, 2012.
She is survived by her five children: Dawn (Bob) Swadley, Christina (Jory) Flynn, Mark, Todd, and Scott Brookbank; seven grandchildren: Brooke, Tyler, Lindsey, Sunnie, Cameron, Keiran, and Autumn; three siblings: John (Jessie) Collie, Jr., Amy J. Collie, and James (Kathy) Collie; several nieces, nephews, other extended family, and innumerable friends.
Aggie, as she liked to be called, was a 1956 graduate of Horace Mann High School, Gary, IN where, due to her warm and friendly nature, she was voted Senior Queen. In her dealings with all others, one word characterized her personality: EMPATHY
