About	John S. Nabhan, age 63, of Hobart, passed away in St. Mary Medical Center on Wednesday, April 14, 2004. He was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, class of 1958 and attended Indiana University Northwest. He graduated from the I.B.E.W. Local No 697 Electrical Apprenticeship Program. John retired from Hyre Electric Company after 33 years, where he served as Vice President and Manager of Special Projects. He served on the Board of Directors for the Hobart YMCA, was actively involved in his community and was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity in Hobart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Josephine Nabhan and sister Lorraine Sayre. Survived by wife of 43 years, Rae Marie (nee Brasel) Nabhan of Hobart; three children Susan Nabhan of Chicago, David (Pamela Waymire) Nabhan of Topanga, CA and Laurie Crook of Hoffman Estates, IL; three granddaughters, Gillian Waymire, Sara and Emily Crook; sister, Kathryn (Dave) Poniske of Albuquerque, NM, son-in-law, Stephen Crook of Hoffman Estates, IL; brothers-in-law, Fred Sayre of Cape Coral, FL and John Trocki of Phoenix, AZ; and many loving nieces and nephews.
