Ilene Goodman, nee Bernstein, 72; beloved wife of Milton Goodman; loving mother of Maxine (Gordon) Stull, Lori (Darnell) Jones and the late Mark (Carrie) Goodman; adored grandmother of Ben, Rosie and Josh Stull, Jacob Jones and Michael and Danielle Goodman; dear sister of Barbara (Robert) Stone; sister- in-law of Sam (the late Nancy); fond companion of "Sparky" and "Franklin".
Ilene's passion the last few years was her dedication to volunteering at CommunityHealth Chicago. This past December, Ilene was the proud recipient of the "Volunteer of the Year" award. Services Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake Cook Road), Buffalo Grove.
