Williams, Charles A. 74, former resident of Gary and Crown Point, IN, died Monday, December 13 at his home in Cottonwood, AZ.
He was preceded in death by son Tommy and is survived by the love of his life wife Patsy (nee Dingman) originally of Gary; sons Scott Salmi of Phoenix, and David (Kevin) Williams, and Todd Williams of Cottonwood; daughters Susan Salmi (Todd) Scheffler of Cincinnati, and Charlisa (Matt) Cotton of San Francisco; brother John (Judy) Williams of Munster; sisters Sally (Paul) Nagle of Fort Wayne and Joan (Moe, deceased) Mrkelja of Valparaiso; and grandchildren Ian, Haley, Jessica, Hannah, and Chloe.
Born in Ellwood City, PA, Charlie attended Horace Mann High School and made his career at U.S. Steel. He loved country music, the Chicago Black Hawks and Prescott Sundogs, Sunday football, and guiding friends and family on tours of his beloved Arizona. A private service was held.
