About	Ron was born in 1936 and graduated from Horace Mann High School. He later attended and was a proud graduate of Indiana University School of Business where he was the President of his housing unit. While at I.U. he raced in The Little 500 and found many lifetime friendships. Ron was also a Lifetime Member of the Indiana University Alumni Association. After his graduation from I.U., Ron was the third generation owner and operator of Maris Roofing Company Inc., (established in 1929) until he retired in April of 2008. The company is now run by the fourth generation family. Ron was also instrumental and very active in the Northwest Indiana Roofing Contractors Association. Ron enjoyed spending time with good friends and family, going out to dinner and entertaining. He loved to travel, visit Marco Island in the winter and Brown County in the fall. Ron will be remembered for his kind nature, warm loving heart and always having the best lawn on the block. We all feel blessed to have had him as part of our lives and he will live within our hearts forever.
