About	He was born in Gary, Indiana on July 30, 1937 to Genevieve (McGinnity) and Orville Tittle. Joe began his education at Indiana University and graduated from Arizona State College at Flagstaff with a B.S. in Management in 1960. He began his career in labor relations with Southwest Forest Industries in Phoenix, spent some time in the same capacity with the Seattle Post Intelligencer, and founded his own business Work Force, Inc. in Seattle. He later returned to Phoenix with Southwest Forest. Joe spent the majority of his career with Salt River Project, ending his tenure as Manager of Labor Relations. He was loved and respected by management and labor alike. Joe served as Chairman of the Political Information Committee at SRP, was President of the Arizona Industrial Relations Association, and served on the Boards of Goodwill Industries and CODAMA. After he retired, Joe taught labor and employment at Ottowa University and was an independent consultant in labor relations. He was a visitor for the Mended Hearts Association and volunteered with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. He was an inveterate reader, enjoyed watching college sports, and cherished spending time with his family. He possessed a wonderfully wry sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
