Born July 11, 1937 in Gary, Indiana, he was an Upland resident for 29 years. An electrical engineer, he was an executive in the Steel Industry for 40 years. Mr. Stanier served in the U.S. Army as an Airborne Ranger; he was a graduate of the Citadel and served as a 1st Lt. during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Upland.
