About	Theodore Leroy Dahlberg Jr, of Cape Coral and N. Fort Myers and recently Ellijay, GA, died on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta GA while holding hands with his family. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st in Ellijay, GA at Hope Lutheran Church. Pastor David Smedley will be officiating. His remains will return to Cape Coral to rest next to his son Karl Erik Dahlberg in the Memorial Garden at Christ Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church at 3295 Old Highway 5 South, Ellijay, GA 30540 in his name. Ted was born in Chicago, Il on August 13, 1933 and married his love of 60 years to Joan Dahlberg on May 2, 1954. Ted was an avid boater and enjoyed his years working while owning the Brass Cleat Marina in St. James City with his best friend and son Richard Dahlberg. In his retirement, he owned Keen Edge. His favorite hobby was playing his trumpet where he entertained many at both church services and the German American Club Hafenkapelle band. His pride and joy was his family. Nothing put a brighter smile on his cheerful face than being surrounded by his kids and grandchildren. Ted is survived by his children Theodore "Tayo" Dahlberg III, Richard Dahlberg and wife Kim, Heidi George and husband Rick, Mark Dahlberg and wife Melissa, Dana Rosenbaum and husband Doug. He treasured his time with his grandchildren Brittany Dahlberg, Austin Dahlberg, Garrett Anderson, Karly Rosenbaum and his favorite…his dog Lucy. We will all miss you Daddy.
