About	Don Ray Bakeman Sr. 86 of Sun City, Arizona completed his earthly mission on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Don was born in Gary, Indiana on October 20, 1931, to Floyd and Darlene (Gorman) Bakeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lynn, and several nieces. Don married his high school sweetheart, Eloida Colina, on December 16, 1950. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. Don is a veteran of the US Navy, having served during the Korean war, and retired from US Steel in Gary, Indiana. Don and Eloida were able to travel around the United States, which eventually led them to settle in Arizona. Don is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Eloida; three children, Don Jr. (Judy), Barbara (William) Tsonis, and Aurora (Hugh) Clark; six grandchildren, Joshua (Terah) Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Ana (James) Heinzel, Tanner, Zackary and Jackson Murdock; and five great grandchildren, Jesse, Ashton, Miranda, Zoe, Alexa and many other extended family members and friends who love him dearly. Private family services will be held. Don’s favorite charity was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to which he donated yearly.
