About	Gerald “Jerry” Thomas Brown Jr. born and raised in Gary (Miller Beach), Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Brown Sr. and Jane (Jensen) Brown, sisters Marian and Patty, and mother-in-law Bonnie “Babcie” Dluzak. He is survived by his wife Diane, sons Jerry (Sarah) and Patrick (Taylor), daughter Tina Luzzi, brothers Jim (Michy) and Bob (Cindy), sisters Joanne (Tom) Jeffirs, Betty (Rich) Rollensen, Barbara (Tom) Rivas, and Kathy (Frank) Bottos, in-laws Lillian & Mike Shadowen, all of his special nieces and nephews, the neighbors on the hill, and his favorite granddogs Lola Jean and Heidi Ann. Jerry was a bricklayer from 1976 to 1994, until he became the Field Representative and Secretary/Treasurer of Chapter 6 Indiana, before retiring in 2013. He was a proud Vietnam War Veteran who served from 1967 to 1968. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who had a great love for the outdoors.
