I joined the Army upon graduating in 1993 as a 19K (Armor Crewman). In 1996, i received a scholorship to Alabama A&M University to become an Army Officer. I graduated AAMU with a BS in Civil Engineering Tech and commissioned as an Army Officer in 2001. I have been stationed in Fort Hood, TX. I have completed 2 deployments to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. I am currently serving as MAJOR in the logistics branch and stationed at Fort Lee, VA.

Most recently at Spangdahlem AB Germany after assisting in the closure of Rhein-Main AB, in Frankfurt Germany, and it's operational relocation to Spangdahlem AB. Was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Air and Space Campaign Medal.

I left Hope in Dec 88' for USN "boot camp", Great Lakes, Ill(COLD!!!). Upon completion in Feb 89', I attended aviation training in Millington, TN. Upon completion of training my 20 yr USN career began thus taking me to various places like Greece, Italy, Japan, England, Israel, Jerusalem, Spain, France and Turkey to name a few. I'm a veteran of 2 specific conflicts, Operation Desert Shield (1990 - 1991), Gulf Wars*/Southwest Asia Ceasefire Campaign (1991 - 2003) and the obvious conflicts that applied to all service members over the past 20 yrs.
I left active duty in 98', but went directly into the reserves, 18mths til retirement, 22 yrs total.
